Episode 111, "Reviewing ACTRIMS 2024" features a conversation with Daniel Ontaneda, MD, an associate professor of neurology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, who sat down to discuss the recently concluded Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ACTRIMS) Forum. Ontaneda, program committee vice-chair of the meeting, provided insight on a number of notable sessions and discussions that highlighted the recent advances in the MS field. In addition, he talked about the need to innovate clinical trials, ways to tackle progressive MS, and whether drug trials are truly assessing patients at the right time points. Furthermore, he discussed multi-stage trials, the potential role of Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors, and how this year's meeting differs from previous ones.
