The director of pediatric epilepsy at the HMH Hackensack University Medical Center provided full context to his phase 3 study presented at AES 2020, which evaluated diazepam nasal spray in patients with epilepsy who were concomitantly using maintenance benzodiazepines. He detailed the importance of his findings, the clinical utility of the drug, and what other clinical trials may be coming down the pike.
